It’s hard to say exactly what this piece represents. Madonna usually creates art that can be interpreted in several different ways, depending on the eye of the beholder. That can be said for this entire section starting with Girl Gone Wild.
On one hand, if you interpret her art as benevolent then that is a reflection of you. And on the other hand, if you interpret her art as malevolent then that also is a reflection of you. Hence the Enlightenment.
