After having lived out every 72 Names of God meditation and having them ingrained in my soul, I spent the next several weeks patiently waiting to see what changes, if any, would take place in my life. I realized that the study of Kabbalah required much more commitment and dedication, and was a lifetime of learning, but I figured my journey was pretty unique and so I hoped that it would perhaps bring about some small personal transformation.
On May 5, 2010, I began to notice some of the issues that showed up during my journey start to resolve:
1) To start with my sister finally gave me the money that she had promised me for Christmas, and then added some extra cash for my upcoming birthday. And then to top that off, I stopped in to visit a friend of mine who was a dentist to see if she would take a look at my chipped tooth, and was informed that I most definitely needed a crown. However, she needed some work on her website, so she offered to do my crown as an even trade. I couldn’t even express how relieved I was. Later that evening my sister, brother-in-law and I went to visit my mother’s baby brother, Uncle Seth. We all had a nice visit, and he gave me enough money to pay off my credit card. I looked at all of these gifts as small miracles somehow attributed to my journey and the 72 Names of God meditations, and the message that I had written in the sand asking my mom’s spirit to send money.
2) Through various conversations with friends and family, I figured out that the pain that I had been experiencing in my left foot was Plantar fasciitis. Once I figured out the problem, I began correcting it immediately.
3) All of the prayers and light sent towards my niece in Wilmington had taken effect, and her life had turned around almost instantly. Her frame of mind had changed drastically from our visit on April 26. (Day 69) I was so happy to see these changes in her.
4) I reunited with my friend, Natalie, the second person to donate to my website. It had been five years since we had seen one another while working together in Washington, DC. We reconnected very quickly and picked up exactly where we had left off. I felt closer to Natalie during this visit than our time in DC. I even did a reading for her, which we both thoroughly enjoyed. We also talked about how the responses to my 72 Days of God survey appeared to match each participant’s analysis, almost entirely.
During the evening of May 13, 2010, I posted the tenth response to my 72 Days of God survey.
Date of Reading: May 13, 2010
Participant’s Name: Dan
Dan’s Birthdate: 8/2/1964
Dan’s answers to the 72 Days of God questions:
1) Do you believe in God? If so, based on which religion or spiritual practice? If not, why? No, the idea of god doesn’t make any sense to me. it’s a smoke screen to the real answer to questions and a false answer to unanswerable questions. some of the things i believe though may be the same thing that someone else calls god. for example, i would never call the ocean, nature, or the physical order to the universe god. i think the term is worn out, creates confusion and needs to be retired.
2) What does the concept of God mean to you? Charlatanism, dishonesty, desperation, hypocrisy.
3) What do you feel is the purpose of life on earth? Life is what you make it.
4) What are you most passionate about and what do you wish to accomplish with your life? Truth, good.
5) What do you truly believe happens when you die? Nothing. It’s over.
Thanks, Dan!
