The following highlights describe how Confessions On A Dance Floor and The Confessions Tour may have forecasted The Second Transfiguration – In Search of Christ almost 4-years in advance. And remember this didn’t occur to me until 2020, nearly 14-years after the tour. As evidence of its brilliance, you will need to study the complete lyrics to every song on the album to try and grasp my hypothesis.
Confessions On A Dance Floor was released November 9, 2005 and the Confessions Tour kicked off six months later in Inglewood, California on May 21, 2006. The Second Transfiguration – In Search of Christ began almost four years later on February 16, 2010.
Future Lovers / I Feel Love – The Confessions Tour
ICONOLOGY – Madonna popped out of a big blue crystal ball predicting my future of what was to come four years into the future. The black horse represents restriction, freedom, and strength. Madonna played the dominatrix the person holding the reins.
Get Together – The Confessions Tour
ICONOLOGY – No whip. No reins. No restriction. Asking a very simple question straight to my face.
Jump – The Confessions Tour
ICONOLOGY – There’s only so much you can learn in one place. The more that I wait, the more time that I waste. The foretelling of me embarking on the 72 Days of God journey four years later in 2010.
Live To Tell – The Confessions Tour
ICONOLOGY – Using numerology I’m number 1 (The Magician in the Tarot.) Madonna is number 2 (The High Priestess.) The cross! The lyrics! The final count!?!
Isaac – The Confessions Tour
ICONOLOGY – Staring up into the heavens In this hell that binds your hands Will you sacrifice your comfort Make your way in a foreign land Wrestle with your darkness Angels call your name Can you hear what they are saying Will you ever be the same? Remember, remember Never forget All of your life has all been a test. You will find the gate that’s open Even though your spirit’s broken. Open up my heart ‘Cause my lips to speak. Bring the heavens and the stars. Down to earth for me.
The cage + the desert + the falcon (or hawk) + the son that is sacrificed. Angels call your name!
Erotica | You Thrill Me (The video at the top of this page.)
ICONOLOGY – My favorite dance number. Five spinning disks overhead. Look up the meaning for the Five of Disks, Coins, or Pentacles in the Tarot. I most certainly endured that during my adventure.
Hung Up – The Confessions Tour
ICONOLOGY – I made sure to follow my own inner guidance throughout The Second Transfiguration – In Search of Christ. And the time went by so slowly. I was most certainly “Hung Up” on every little thing that Madonna said and did on Instagram while on my journey.
I have been waiting for her call both night and day ever since. Like it or not, Madonna’s spirit most definitely “pushed me” (See track No. 11 on the Confessions On A Dance Floor album) or inspired me throughout my entire adventure. (See video here.)
And those were just some of the highlights. I could do a complete dissertation on the Confessions On A Dance Floor era and how that record foretold the next fifteen years of my life.
Whether intentional or not, the connection between Madonna’s music, her spirit, and myself was most definitely surrounded by an aura of mystery. It was undeniable.
